The Forest Fairy can be found among the trees and ferns of the deep woods, always watching those who come and go in such a hurry. She's very shy, and only those who know where to look can find her. Maybe you can coax a smile from her. The fairy is made of cotton fabrics, with a painted and sculpted face. She's dressed in the colors of the forest, and her hair is a wig of hand-dyed Tibetan lamb. Ever studious, this fairy has converted her home to a reading room, complete with an assortment of books. And since reading can be thirsty work, she's brought along a small pitcher, bottle and cup for refreshments. The Flying Fairies were so popular, I decided to design a slightly larger version. Dressed in taupe, beige and shades of gray, the Mist Fairy can be seen in the mist after a summer rain, or in the lonely fog of the seashore. But look quickly, before she fades away! Mist is about 17" long, with a sculpted and painted face, with quilted hair and wings of distressed organza. Her body is made of cotton fabrics, and her dress is draped chiffon. Sitting amidst ferns and mushrooms, this little fairy catches up on the latest news with her bumblebee friend. Made of cotton fabrics, with a painted and sculpted face, she is draped in a sheer green beaded outfit. Her hair is made of lush fibers and her wings are distressed cellophane; and she wears a tiny beaded necklace. The tree stump is hollow with a removeable lid for secret storage. From the Unseelie Court comes the Crow Fairy, the embodiment of night. No sweetness and light for this fairy, and she certainly doesn't grant wishes. But there is a dark beauty none the less. Made of cotton fabric, with a painted and sculpted face, she sits about 12" tall with a 15" wingspan. She is dressed in various sparkly and beaded fabrics, embellished with feathers and a dichroic glass pendant, with hair of Tibetan lamb; and her wings are wired and distressed netting, embellished with beads. And of course, she is accompanied by her namesake, a crow. One of a kind. $160
The Dragonfly Fairy sparkles and shimmers with reflected light. Attracted by the flowers of summer, she comes to sip nectar and dance on the wind. Made from cotton fabric, with a painted and sculpted face, she is attired in a shimmery draped dress, with beaded accents on the dress, shoes and her skin. The Snow Fairy guards her icy realm with the help of her companion, the Ice Bear. Dressed in snowy white with ice blue accents, the fairy's face is sculpted and hand painted and her hair is a wig of Tibetan lamb. Her wings are textured paper and she stands 18" tall. The Goblin Queen has been chosen! Dressed elegantly in a multi-layered gown of shimmering fabrics, she sits 17" tall on a fabric stump throne. Her scepter is a gnarled branch embellished with dragon claw and bone beads, and ribbons to match her gown. Her face is sculpted and painted, with inset eyes; her hair is multi-colored wool roving; and her wings are irridescent fibers. She wears a black bead necklace and her ears are pierced with gold rings. One of a kind. $175
With the body of a lion and head and wings of an eagle, Gryphons are one of the oldest magical creatures of mythology. It is a vigilant protector against evil and theft, and is often associated with the sun and light. Its untameable nature makes it truly fearsome. This gryphon is about 13" long (not including tail) and sits about 12" high. Fabrics will vary. $125
Pegasus, the flying horse, is a favorite of the Muses of Greek mythology; and was the helper of the Greek hero Bellerophon. Pegasus is made of velour and about 16" long, with a lush mane and tail of assorted fibers. A hanging loop is attached. $130

A real glamour gal, this Diva Witch sits 21" tall to the tip of her hat. Her body is weighted to sit upright, while her legs dangle and her fingers are wired. Her face is painted and sculpted; her hair is a combination of fibers and will coordinate with her outfit. Her familiar - a crow, spider, snake, or toad - is included.
